Spring, for some of us, is so close we can almost taste it. For others, it’s autumn. Regardless of whicher season you are in, spend this time with your family and friends. Take a trip to a colourful wonderland of inspiration to help you DECORATE EASTER!
Be innovative and add a few BOHEMIAN elements to your celebration. Remember, VINTAGE CHIC is the way to go.
A great place to start is with a table
Collapsible tables can be, let’s say, lacking in character. Try layering instead—this will always add excitement to your setting. Besides, it’s also way more FUN. Take any plank of recycled wood and place it on vintage trestle legs (or even wooden crates) and voila! You have an instant table. Next, work on making it pretty by draping some pretty linen, ironed or not.
When it comes to flowers, think WILDFLOWERS!
Just about any kind of flower is beautiful, particularly those wildflowers that are waiting for you to pick them. Gather them in huge bunches and scatter them across the table.

This is when the concept of confetti comes to life. Shower your grazing boards and cakes with flowers that are brightly coloured and that you can eat. Here’s an example: Samira Damirova’s Orange and Cardamom Love Cake that almost looks too pretty to eat.
Game, Set, Match
Almost anything in your house is a prop that you can use to add character to your bash. Got any old tennis rackets lying around? Your Easter celebration can use them! Some ribbon and flowers will do the trick of getting the rackets ready.
As a left-of-centre addition to your handmade decor, how about then making papier maché eggs?
