Preparing for Your First 5K

The first step in preparing for your first 5K race is to set a goal. Choose a race that’s a few months away and register for it.

Having a concrete goal will motivate you to start training and stick with it. Make sure to choose a race that’s suitable for beginners and has a manageable course.
