I still call Australia home!

One day in September 2010, the carpet was pulled up from under my feet, and my entire life changed. My partner came home from work with a distressed look that instantly told me something was wrong.

It turned out there was a good reason for his look. His manager announced that their employer was undertaking a massive overhaul and reducing many expenses, including wages. My husband, one of the last in, was the first to go.
