Elevating the Everyday Elegance
Life is a whirlwind of responsibilities, routines, and the constant buzz of everyday life. Amidst
There is much GREATNESS to write about when the topic is Queen Elizabeth II. Many stories are not about her per se, but the lessons in her LOVE for COLOUR.
Within seconds of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, images of her in her brilliant colourful tailored outfits were plastered across every social media channel, reminding many of us of her dedication and bravery.
The Colour Queen used hues to communicate with her tribe. As she regally shuffled the grounds before her raving and screaming fans, she ensured she translated more than they’d ever expected and gave them LOVE and HOPE.
Coronated at the ripe young age of 26, Queen Elizabeth II announced herself to the world and, like many of us, started her new role, seeking validation. She wanted everyone to love her regardless of her age and inexperience. She was their Queen, after all. So she set out to communicate her LOVE by bedazzling her people with her love of COLOUR and letting them know she was their woman.
There is so much to gain from the Queen’s love of colour. Have you ever caught yourself silently thinking, “You’re so lucky” when you see someone OOZING what you desire? And then you wonder why you are not in their position. Like the Queen, these inspiring people live with an energy (vibration) that is at a level that makes them HAPPY.
At 26, Queen Elizabeth II likely had no clue what it meant to be the Queen. But she knew what she wanted to bring to her tribe. Like many of us who daydream, she lay in bed visualising her raving fans LOVING her to bits, and she felt every part of their adoration. She manifested her Queenship over England to the rest of the world.
As colour filled the Queen with CONFIDENCE, her LOVE flowed elegantly and freely.
And just like the Queen, we can dare to defy the fear of being judged. Let us take her cue and use colour as a beautiful way to communicate and manifest many of our life desires.
You ask, “But where will our courage come from?”
That is a great question. Courage starts when you become conscious of your emotions. The next time you dress, stop and take a moment to breathe. And as you breathe, visualise where you are going.
Will you be having lunch with your friends? Even if you may not know the details, visualise any restaurant if you will be eating at a restaurant. Hear the chatter, laughter or silence, glasses clinking together. Feel the ambience. Now, in your mind, see the company you are with. How are you with them? Happy, serious or jovial? Then see yourself at the table. Are you having a great time and wearing something bright? Does your face reflect your happiness? Or are you wearing black not because you LOVE black but because you didn’t have time or were unsure of yourself?
Those LUCKY people we mentioned, including Queen Elizabeth II, have their visualisations every day. That is why they get everything they desire!
