Marry Me Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes (Halfed)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 8 oz Penne pasta (cooked al dente)
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned on both sides and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes until tomatoes soften.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in grated parmesan cheese, dried basil, and dried oregano. Allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Slice cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet. Simmer in the sauce briefly.
  • Add cooked penne pasta to the skillet. Toss until pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve Marry Me Chicken Pasta on individual plates, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
